Our commitment
An institution concerned with being heard fairly has a particular obligation to be readable. DWRC aims for its publication to be usable by people with a wide range of abilities, devices, and connection speeds, and treats accessibility defects as ordinary defects to be fixed rather than optional polish.
What has been tested
Accessibility and responsive behaviour are checked by an automated browser test suite that runs against a real production build. It covers keyboard operation and visible focus, semantic landmarks and heading structure, touch-target sizes, reduced-motion behaviour, and layout at viewport widths from 320 pixels upward. Automated accessibility scanning runs on every public route, and pages are exercised in Chromium, WebKit, and Firefox, together with emulated mobile devices.
What we do not claim
DWRC does not hold, and does not claim, formal WCAG certification. It does not claim perfect accessibility. Testing to date has not included physical assistive-technology devices or a formal screen-reader audit, and automated scanning detects only part of what matters. Emulated mobile testing is not the same as testing on real handsets. Those remain genuine gaps rather than solved problems.
